You may also visit Baguio City which is the summer capital of the Philippines. It's located near Benguet and Mountain province and the city is situated thousands of feet above sea level so even though it's really hot in most parts of the country, it's still cool in Baguio. It's a 4 to 5 hour drive from Manila. There are also a few other similar high elevation destinations such as Tagaytay City and Antipolo City. Temperatures usually range 20-28 C in these cities. There are also lots of provinces to visit and you'll often see festivals native to each. There are lots of food, partying and the entire neighborhood is just filled with joy.
